Hi, I’m Annika.

I’m a value-driven sustainability consultant, impact enabler, and empathetic networker. Also, I’m the founder and host of the Gender & Climate podcast, highlighting the interconnection of Gender Inequality and Climate Change, and advocating for Climate Justice & Gender Equality.

Over the past decade, I have lived in South America, North America, Asia, and Europe, experiencing the impact of global inequalities on the ground while working both with one-person start-ups and global market leaders across industries. I have extensive experience in holistic sustainability, fostering diversity and collaboration, as well as strategic and analytical strengths.

My focus on Gender & Climate links holistic sustainability, DE&I, new work, peace and security at micro and macro, personal, business and policy levels. I bring all this experience to each episode of my podcast, to each guest selection, as well as to each and every consulting and speaking engagement.

Climate Change affects everyone in the world. However, depending on their location, ethnicity, race, age, or gender, people experience the effects differently.

In interviews with international experts, I explore this topic on a global and local scale. How do the effects of Climate Change translate into people’s realities throughout the world? And which solutions exist on that matter?

I love to speak to and for people on stage. Through my podcast, I have been established as a confident, yet calm speaker, and have taken part in various discussions and talks on sustainability, DE&I and the Gender-Climate-Nexus.

Approaches to managing diversity, equity, and inclusion, on how to establish sustainability, systemic thinking and true participation are core to any any conversation – with a previous feasibility check.

Offering my broad-ranging expertise and experiences in a consulting or advisory role comes natural to me.

I provide support across a spectrum of knowledge areas, ranging from more basic to advanced levels, and covering issues such as corporate sustainability and diversity, equity & inclusion management, as well as links between gender inequality.
